More than 800 people attended the benefit concert for the IRB on the 5th of December in Bellinzona. Renowned soprano Katia Ricciarelli and Bluesman Andrea Mingardi provided a unique combination of sacred and profane music culminating in a duet rendition of “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess.
The event was organized together with the Foundation for the Patrizzi of Bellinzona and all proceeds will be given to the IRB to support the education program at the institute. Tickets were sold out in an unprecedented 2 days by the Bellinzona Tourist Office.
