The President of Switzerland Pascal Couchepin visited the IRB on the 12th of June together with the Secretary of State for Education and Research Mauro Dell’Ambrogio.
Pascal Couchepin visited made a private and informal visit to the IRB during his recent (annual) trip to Ticino. In a lively discussion with President Giorgio Noseda, the President of the Confederation engaged on several important topics such as the criteria for federal funding of research institutes. The tour of the facilities included a visit to the IOSI as well.
